Luminore spray application process

Luminore, resin mold making, latex mold making, epoxy mold making supplies

LuminOre® is a patented metal process that seamlessly applies cold composite metal to almost any surface.

Available in nine metals:
  • aluminum
  • brass
  • bronze,
  • copper
  • iron
  • nickel-silver
  • stainless steel
  • X-metal
  • and Z³

LuminOre® is applied using conventional HVLP (high volume, low-pressure) spray equipment.

LuminOre® gives almost any material the appearance of being a solid cast metal object without the weight. The patented cold-spray, cold-cast process allows a thin layer of metal to be applied over any substrate, in virtually any configuration or design.

LuminOre® looks, feels and acts like hot-cast metal, yet no heat is needed.

It will adhere to almost any surface:

  • foam
  • plastic
  • gypsum
  • wood
  • metal
  • fiberglass
  • plaster
  • ceramic
  • concrete
  • terracotta
  • cardboard
  • and even paper

Once cured and polished, the product has all the characteristics of a cast metal, including texture, luster and heat conductivity.

LuminOre® is real metal, so it is durable. It will not crack, chip or peel and is suitable for exterior as well as interior use.

We at Webster & Sons Limited have worked hard in promoting the innovative lines of LuminOre® cold sprayable and castable composite metals and Polytek’s mold making and casting products.
